Growing up, looking different made it easy to be a target of scrutiny. Being heavier, taller, and a darker shade of brown, plus having a head full of curly hair… I guess you could say I stood out. I was called names for most of my childhood and adolescence. The other kids at school would snicker in the halls and mock me when I spoke up in class. Popular girls wouldn’t really talk to me because I didn’t measure up. The boys got a kick out of daring each other to go near the “ugly” girl: me. I was bullied and for a while, I believed them. Today, I am building a career out of the things people scrutinized about me. Insecurity is crippling and I’ve found that the best way to heal is with self love. That includes taking care of yourself. That is why I take Conzace. Conzace helps me take care of myself by delivering the perfect combination of Zinc and Vitamins A, C, & E. I've embraced my uniqueness. Now, I proudly wear the skin and hair I've been ridiculed for, and just focus on staying healthy. Having superior immunity enables me to hustle and pursue my goals. Now, I glow from the inside out. Being healthy never looked this good. How did you conquer your own moments of scrutiny? Check out the mechanics below to join my giveaway: 1. How did you conquer your own moments of scrutiny? Post a selfie and your story with the hashtags #Conzace and #LookAtMeNow. 2. Tag me on the photo so I can read your story too! Conzace will choose 20 winners of Conzace gift packs and they will be featured on their Facebook page! Post your entries until April 14! I’m so excited to read your stories! Let’s keep inspiring each other! Stay pretty positive! . #LookAtMeNow #Conzace

When I stopped taking oral contraceptive pills after taking them for several years, I bled heavily for two months straight, everyday. When I started taking anti-depressants, anti-psychotic, and anti-anxiety medication, my period became super irregular: I couldn’t predict when it would start or end, my periods were either scanty or really heavy. Last March, I bled heavily for two weeks. Last April, my period was delayed for 11 days, but started on the 12th day, and I had a heavy period for a week. All this because of the immense stress I’ve been under recently. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #HeavyMenstrualBleeding (HMB) can be triggered by hormone fluctuations, just like mine was. It may be a simple and treatable condition, but it may also be a symptom of Uterine Cancer, Polyps, and other serious conditions. The only way to know for sure is to consult your OB-Gyne. Left untreated, it may cause Anemia, constant discomfort, Anxiety and Depression, low self-esteem, and not being able to do daily activities or work well. If all these sound familiar to you and you want to get yourself checked, you can check the list of partner doctors in my bio. You’re also invited to attend the event tomorrow, June 20 in Manila Doctors Hospital OPD to learn more! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #hemostan #heavymenstrualbleeding #hmb #menstruation #letstalkaboutperiods #womensrights #bodypositivity #reproductivehealth #reproductivehealthcare #uterinecancerawareness #uterinefibroids #heavybleeding 📸 @anjangeles
